Built To Preserve. A Romanian Approach to Archiving By Design

The Archiving by Design project

was initiated by the National Archives of Norway in cooperation with the National Archives of Romania, funded by the EEA and Norway Grants (2014-2021). The project aimed to strengthen the Romanian National Archives’ capabilities in managing digital-born records through improved methodologies, training, and guidelines.

The core objectives were:

• Facilitating knowledge exchange
• Strengthening strategic competence in digital archiving
• Developing guidelines for implementing Archiving by Design
